Whinney Hill – Hyndburn’s Woodlands
Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be at Whinney Hill woodland carrying out some step maintenance. Tasks include hand weeding the stairs to free them from vegetation. Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. We will meet at the Stanhill Road Entrance, by the noticeboard, before heading into the site to listen out for bats using special devices.
