Natural Cordage Making
Saturday, October 19, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join The PROSPECTS Foundation and Gareth Muir, of Crag Moor Bushcraft, for an afternoon of wild learning at Whinney Hill! Gareth will be teaching us how to create cordage from naturally foraged nettles! Along the way, we will learn how to plait 2 & 3 ply plaits and use our newly found skills to create our very own God’s Eyes!
The activity runs on Saturday 19th October, from 10am – 1pm. The meeting location is at the end of Thorneyholme Road, BB5 5FW (Just next to the play area).
This is a family-friendly event. Booking is essential. To find out more or book your place, please contact Brandon at brandon.cherry@prospectsfoundation.org.uk or 07733 840842
