The PROSPECTS Foundation is a membership organisation which means that local people can have a say in the running of the charity. The membership system helps to ensure that the Foundation is accountable as a voluntary organisation. Under our Articles of Association there can be up to 6 members on our Management Committee alongside the other nominated representatives.
Members can attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and have the power to make certain fundamental decisions affecting the charity, such as making changes to the constitution and dissolving the organisation. Members also elect people to sit on the Management Committee.
We aim to reflect the communities where we work and membership is open to any organisations or individuals who are interested in and want to support the aims and objectives of the organisation.
Anyone wishing to join PROSPECTS and become a member needs to complete an application form, agree to the policies and Code of Conduct attached to the form, sign up to receive our monthly bulletins and project updates and agree to the liability to pay £1 if the PROSPECTS Foundation ceases to exist. Applications are approved (or rejected) by the Management Committee.
So why not become a member today and help improve the environment where you live!
