Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be at Woodnook Vale LNR carrying out some invasive species management. Tasks include using spades, loppers, and levering bars to remove and control Montbretia and Cotoneaster.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring spare water this activity can be quite demanding.

We will be meeting at the Nuttall street entrance, BB5 2HW (Just across from Pappous Greek Grill) . Staff will be in orange high-vis. There is on-street parking available.
