It was with great sadness that we learned the terrible news that Mike died suddenly on 30th September 2021 at home.
We have known Mike for nearly twenty years. He first joined PROSPECTS in 2002 as Community Projects Officer. After a brief spell doing aid support work in Sierra Leone he rejoined PROSPECTS and later became Charity Manager in 2012. He also ran our Social Enterprise Programme resulting in the creation of the One Planet Shop, Woody CIC and the adoption of Hyndburn Used Furniture Store.
As well as being central to most of PROSPECTS' work, Mike was kind and generous and was loved and respected by everyone that came into contact with him. He will be missed by so many friends and colleagues. Our thoughts are with Katharine and Mike's family.
