Hyndburn’s Woodlands – Whinney Hill
Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be back at Whinney Hill woodland carrying out some site maintenance work before the Christmas holidays. Above Pleck Meadow, there are a number of Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) which need to be removed. The shrubs are cotoneaster and non-native honeysuckles, which are garden escapees that can be detrimental to biodiversity in the wild.
