Hyndburn’s Woodlands – Woodnook Vale

Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions.
This week we will be at Woodnook Vale for an exciting session! Last year we started the work to repair and improve the Willow arch onsite. We will be continuing with this work.
Tasks include: Working from height (small stepladder), weaving willow stems back into the arch to create a structure, utilising hand tools like loppers and secateurs.
We will be meeting at the Nuttall Street entrance to the site, BB5 2HW (Just across from Pappous Greek Grill on Google Maps)
