INNS Shrub Removal – Hyndburn’s Nature Reserve Volunteers session @Peel Park and the Coppice LNR
Monday, January 19 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Above Pleck Meadow, there are a number of Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) which need to be removed. The shrubs are cotoneaster and non-native honeysuckles, which are garden escapees that can be detrimental to biodiversity in the wild. We will be digging up as much of the root and cutting up the vegetation up to remove it from the site.
Join us for our new Hyndburn’s Nature Reserves project! There will be weekly conservation volunteers sessions at Peel Park and the Coppice Local Nature Reserve, every Monday from 10am – 1pm. Come along to learn new skills, meet people, keep fit and help wildlife!
