Whinney Hill – Hyndburn’s Woodlands
Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be at Whinney Hill taking part in the 'Great British Spring Clean' event! Tasks include cleaning up a large amount of litter and fly-tipping that has accumulated at that Ribbleton Drive entrance. Secondary tasks include clearing a few small trees which have fallen over. Join PROSPECTS for a early morning walk around Jackhouse nature reserve to hear the morning chorus! The walk will be led by local bird expert, Dave Bickerton. Park on Fieldings Lane/Broadfield, it is then a 10 minute walk to the entrance of Jackhouse nature reserve where we will be meeting. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.
