Whinney Hill – Hyndburn’s Woodlands

Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be back at Whinney Hill woodland carrying out a Balsam Bash.
Tasks include using scythes and dashel bashers to clear Balsam from the site.
Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers.
We will be meeting at the Livingstone Road entrance, BB5 5BS (Just next to the allotments). There is parking available in the car park. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.
