PROSPECTS will be taking part in the 2025 City Nature Challenge on behalf of Lancashire! Join us for a jam-packed 24 hrs of wildlife surveys! We will be using the wildlife recording app iNaturalist. Family friendly, no dogs please. You can attend just one or all of the following surveys:

Friday 25th:

• 8:15pm: Meet & Introductions
• 8:30pm-10:30pm: Set-off for Bat Walk with Roger Cunliffe (The Batman!) followed by a moth & frog hunt at Pleck Meadow.

Saturday 26th:

• 7am-9am: Morning Bird Walk
• 9am: Moth Trap Opening & Emperor Moth Lure
• 10am-12pm: Woodland ID Walk with Brandon Cherry (Hyndburn Woodland’s Officer)
• 1pm-3pm: Pollinator & Wildflower ID Walk
• 3pm-4pm: Pond-dipping
