Whinney Hill – Hyndburn’s Woodlands

Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be at Whinney Hill taking part in the ‘Great British Spring Clean’ event!
Tasks include cleaning up a large amount of litter and fly-tipping that has accumulated at that Ribbleton Drive entrance. Secondary tasks include clearing a few small trees which have fallen over.
Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers.
We will be meeting at the Livingstone Road entrance, BB5 5BS. There is on-street parking available. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.
