Woodnook Community Garden Apple Crafting Club
Join us for an apple themed crafting club! We will be celebrating our lovely orchard at Woodnook Community Garden. Expect apple crafts, apple juicing and some tasty apple related recipes cooked on the fire. This is a family-friendly event. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult . No dogs please. Join Medical Herbalist, Danielle Kay, for an Autumn Foraging Walk followed by recipe demonstrations. Learn about the healing properties of local plants, shrubs and trees! Join the PROSPECTS team for two sessions in October as we develop our exciting new Tree Nursery! Currently, the allotment is difficult to access so we will be concentrating on making the site safer to walk around by scraping the paths, cutting back overgrown vegetation and doing general maintenance. Jubilee – Hyndburn’s Woodlands
Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be back at Jubilee woodland continuing with the maintenance of the wildflower meadow.
