Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be back at Whinney Hill woodland continuing with the maintenance of the steps. Tasks include using hand tools to clear encroaching and overhanging vegetation.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring spare water this activity can be quite demanding.

We will be meeting at the end of Livingstone Road, BB5 5BS (Just next to the allotments). Staff will be in orange high-vis. There is on-street parking available.
