Soft Rush Natural Cordage Making – Hyndburn’s Nature Reserves
Using locally foraged Soft Rush, learn a simple natural cordage making skill. The cordage can be used to make bracelets, baskets, bags and more! Join PROSPECTS for a free crafting event, whilst learning a bit about your local green spaces. Family friendly & perfect for beginners. Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be back at Whinney Hill woodland carrying out a Balsam Bash. Join PROSPECTS for a early morning walk around Jackhouse nature reserve to hear the morning chorus! The walk will be led by local bird expert, Dave Bickerton. Park on Fieldings Lane/Broadfield, it is then a 10 minute walk to the entrance of Jackhouse nature reserve where we will be meeting. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.
