December 2025 Crafting Evenings #2 | Wooden Reindeer Crafting
Looking to create some natural and plastic-free festive decorations this winter? Our family-friendly Tuesday crafting evenings have you covered! All sessions will use materials harvested from local green spaces for the purpose of conservation, meaning the crafts will be good for you and for nature. The Friends of Arden Hall & The Coppice are running monthly volunteer sessions to get the community involved at Peel Park & the Coppice LNR. On Sunday 14th December, (9:30am-11:30am,) the Friends group will creating habitat piles near the car park. Family-friendly and a great opportunity to explore the woodlands this winter. Above Pleck Meadow, there are a number of Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) which need to be removed. The shrubs are cotoneaster and non-native honeysuckles, which are garden escapees that can be detrimental to biodiversity in the wild.
