The transects start in Pleck Meadow and go around the whole site, where participants will count and ID every butterfly or bee they see. This data will then be submitted to UKBMS and the Bumblebee Conservation Trust respectively. We will be checking on all the trees, removing any vegetation such as grass, rushes and brambles that might outcompete the trees, and fixing/replacing any wonky or broken stakes and shelters.
