Berry Collection Walk at Woodnook Vale

Join our Community TreeACTION Officer Helen for a short walk through Woodnook Vale LNR where we will collect Elder and Rowan berries, which will be sown a few weeks later to produce tree saplings!
Suitable for families, adult supervision is required for under 18s. Well-behaved dogs considered, please contact Helen for more details.
We will be meeting at the Royds Street entrance to Woodnook Vale LNR (next to a carved bench), Accrington, BB5 2LW. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.

The TreeACTION Project is a direct result of Hyndburn Borough Council’s Climate Emergency Declaration in September 2019 and is seen as one of the key projects where local people can help to reduce emissions within the borough.
