Make a Difference Environmental Award
On Saturday 12th September 2026, Prospects attended the BBC Radio Lancs Make a Difference awards ceremony at Lancaster Town Hall where we were treated to afternoon tea and a very special show.
We were nominated for their environmental award, and made it to the top four!
Unfortunately, we didn't win, but we still received a lovely runners-up trophy and were very honoured to have made it so far.
The winner of the environmental award was Glynis Goldsbrough, who has run the Schools Sustainability Learning Conference for 20 years. We always have a great time at the conference, which attracts schools from all over Lancashire, so we can definitely say it was well-earned!
