Friday 10th July – EE/BT Volunteers

Last Friday 10th July the Hyndburn's Woodlands Project were joined by corporate volunteers from BT/EE!

It was an extremely hot day, so a session in a shaded building with access to cold running water certainly went a long way!

The volunteers were tasked with creating (and decorating, if they wished) bat boxes to be installed around the woodlands managed through the project, and they were certainly up to the task!

Everyone did absolutely amazingly! They created 15 bat boxes in total which will provide great space for local bat communities to occupy in the future.
