Meadow Cuts – Hyndburn’s Nature Reserve Volunteers session @Jackhouse nature reserve
A tractor will be coming to cut several meadows at Jackhouse nature reserve. We will need volunteers from 12pm to 4pm to help marshal and save small critters. Join us for our new Hyndburn's Nature Reserves project! There will be fortnightly conservation volunteers sessions at Jackhouse nature reserve, Wednesdays. Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week we will be back at Whinney Hill woodland carrying out more meadow maintenance. This time we will be at the Butterfly Glade located at the top of the site. Tasks include scything the glade and removing the arisings via raking.
