Whinney Hill – Winter Tree ID
Join The PROSPECTS Foundation for a morning of Winter tree identification! We'll be taking a stroll through Whinney Hill woodland, learning how to identify trees during the Winter months. The Friends of Arden Hall & The Coppice are running monthly volunteer sessions to get the community involved at Peel Park & the Coppice LNR. On Saturday 15th November, (9:30am-11:30am,) the Friends group will be creating habitat piles. This involves piling up logs, sticks, and other cut vegetation which invertebrates, amphibians, small mammals, and birds can use for food and shelter.
