Hyndburn’s Woodlands – Rushton House
Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week we will be at Rushton House Farm carrying out some dead-hedging work. Tasks include creating stakes, establishing dead-hedge, and potentially small-shrub removal. Secondary tasks include tidying up the hedgerow planted last year. Join Alice for seasonal habitat improvement work (and of course, biscuits!) at Brookside. We meet at the Noticeboard by the Stanhill Road entrance to the site at 10am - see the map below! All are welcome but under 18s must be supervised by an adult. Waterproofs, boots, and sturdy clothes are highly recommended. Brookside Volunteer Sunday
By popular demand, we will be starting a monthly weekend session at Brookside! Join us on the first Sunday of the month at 10 am and join in with practical habitat management tasks around the site.
