Bat Walk at Jackhouse Nature Reserve

This will take the form of 'Henry's Honeysuckle' removal. This plant is a garden escapee that is smothering a young Oak and encroaching its way into the native wildflower meadow. The Friends of Arden Hall & The Coppice are running monthly volunteer sessions to get the community involved at Peel Park & the Coppice LNR. On Sunday 19th October, (9:30am-11:30am,) the Friends group will be litter-picking and tidying paths, starting at the car park. Family-friendly and a great opportunity to explore the woodlands this autumn. There will be brews and refreshments afterwards.
