This week we will assisting with the meadow maintenance work that happens annually at Milnshaw Park. This is a lovely wildflower meadow that was first established by the Hyndburn’s Butterfly Project and provides incredible opportunities for pollinators.

We will be carrying out a scythe and rake to ensure it continues its benefits for wildlife. This is a big job, any and all hands would be greatly appreciated! If you are a novice at scything then not to worry, there’s plenty of experienced hands on deck to teach you.

We will be meeting at Milnshaw Park, Lancaster Avenue, Accrington, BB5 4DB. There is on-street parking available.
