Join the Hyndburn’s Woodlands Volunteers for weekly practical conservation sessions.

This week, we will be back at Huncoat West woodland continuing with the establishment of the ‘wildflower ride’. Tasks include cutting back encroaching vegetation and small tree felling.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather.

We will be meeting at the layby on 27 Altham Lane, Accrington, Lancashire BB5 5UR. There is parking at the 2 laybys adjacent to the woods.
