First signs of spring – health and wellbeing walk

Wednesday, February 23, 2022 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us for a gentle stroll at Peel Park and the Coppice Local Nature Reserve looking for the first signs of spring, including spring flowers, tree budbursts, butterflies and nest building birds.

We’ll record our sightings on the Woodland Trust’s Nature’s Calendar database, which tracks natural events across the country to help monitor the effects of weather and climate change on wildlife.

When: Wednesday 23rd February 2022, 1pm – 3pm
Where: Peel Park and the Coppice Local Nature Reserve, Accrington
Walk length: approx. 2 km (1.25 miles), avoiding steep sections, walking at a gentle pace with regular stopping points.

To book a place email gemma.mcmullan@prospectsfoundation.org.uk, phone 01254 230348 or call into the Prospects office at 54 Broadway, Accrington.
