RAILWAY HISTORY WALK    A pleasant circular walk at the end of the Seed Gathering Season along an old railway line and surrounding area.   Part of this walk may include a section of the Leeds Liverpool Canal.   This amble not a ramble, led by PROSPECTS, will start from Tesco, Queen Street,  Great Harwood  BB6 7AT by the  steps entrance near the bus stop.  Grid Ref   SD738323 .

Meet 09:50 for a prompt 10:00am start.  Two hours approx.  Less than 3 miles.   We will wait for the Accrington Bus to arrive before setting off.

Dogs are welcome on a lead.  Only one dog per walker though!  Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for the weather and this rural walk and bring along a drink of water.   The walks is for approximately two hours and will vary according to the speed of the walkers on the day.  PART OF DISCOVER HYNDBURN walks.
