Join our ‘Green Team’ of conservation volunteers led by our Green Spaces staff members: Helen, Brandon & Chloe.

This week we will be following up on the wildflower meadow creation from last year. We will be continuing management by cutting back the new growth and raking off the cuttings to remove nutrients from the soil. This will promote native wildflower growth, which have a low nutrient preference.

We will be meeting at the Bullough Park car park (by the playground), off Dunney Shop Avenue, BB5 0LW. From there it will be a short walk across the field to the planted site. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.

Please wear sturdy footwear and clothes you don’t mind getting messy!
