Hyndburn’s Woodlands – Whinney Hill
Tuesday, February 17 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions.
This week we will be back at Whinney Hill to continue with the work started last year on the encroachment of Henry’s Honeysuckle. Tasks include using hand tools to cut back and bag up encroaching honeysuckle. We will be making extra effort to ensure any climbing material is not connected to the ground.
Secondary tasks include a small amount of tree planting, we will be replacing the cut down guelder rose with fresh saplings.
We will be meeting at the car park on Livingstone Road entrance to the site, BB5 5BS (next to the Livingstone Road Allotments on Google Maps)
