Join our Community TreeACTION Officer Helen for a practical session at our new Tree Nursery Allotment at Miller Fold!

For the final time this year before autumn, we will be planting the acorns we have been storing safely since October in one of our new rodent-proof boxes!

We have camping chairs on site. Please bring snacks and plenty of drinking water.

We will be meeting at the small car park at the top of Miller Fold Avenue, Accrington, BB5 0NT (more on-street parking available once the car park is full). Google maps link HERE.

Site Accessibility – there is a short walk from the cars down a very uneven road. The allotment itself has bad access; the path down to the entrance is muddy. Wear good footwear and non-snag clothing. 

• Everyone welcome. Under 18s will need to be accompanied by an adult
• Please wear suitable outdoor clothes and sturdy boots

The TreeACTION Project is a direct result of Hyndburn Borough Council’s Climate Emergency Declaration in September 2019 and is seen as one of the key projects where local people can help to reduce emissions within the borough.
