Woodnook Vale – Hyndburn’s Woodlands

Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions.
This week we will be at Woodnook Vale LNR carrying out site maintenance. This will involve using chemicals such as Acetone to remove graffiti from noticeboards. Secondary tasks include using hand tools like loppers and bow saws to clear overhanging branches.
Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers.
We will be meeting at the Royds Street entrance to the site, BB5 2LW. There is on-street parking available. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.
