Accessible Mini Wildflower ID Walk @Northern Gateway (Peel Park & the Coppice LNR)

Wednesday, July 2, 2025 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Have you been looking for an accessible intro to wildflower ID? Join Robert for short walk at the Northern Gateway where PROSPECTS has been managing the space as a wildflower patch for over 3 years.

The area is now full of Bird’s-foot-trefoil, Common Knapweed, Oxeye Daisy, Common Vetch, Yellow Rattle and more!

The Northern Gateway has a highly accessible ramp around the meadow area which is perfect for prams, wheelchairs, and anyone who struggles to walk long distances. The Friends Of Arden Hall & The Coppice will be doing some weeding after the walk if you would like to stay to help.

  • Date: Wednesday 2nd July 2025
  • Time: 6:30pm
  • Walk length: 5 minutes, but there will be plenty of wildflowers to stop and look at!
  • Location: We will be meeting at the Peel Park & the Coppice sign at the Northern Gateway, at the top of Peel Park Avenue. There is a car park next to the Peel Park Bowling Club green.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. No dogs please.
