Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be carrying out some INNS management. This will either involve using spades and loppers to clear Snowberry roots, or, if this proves too difficult, we will be using bow saws and loppers to clear Cotoneaster.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather.

We will be at the Hurstead entrance to the Vale, parking is available on Scott Avenue, BB5 2XA. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.
