Tuesday, October 8, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be at Whinney Hill woodland carrying out some maintenance work. Tasks include cutting back the Livingstone road entrance, repairing the information board, and re-erecting the fence if we have time.
Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring spare water this activity can be quite demanding.
We will be meeting at the end of Livingstone road, BB5 5BS (Just next to the Livingstone road allotments) . Staff will be in orange high-vis. There is parking available in the carpark.
