Yellow Rattle Seed Sowing | Hyndburn’s Nature Reserve Volunteers session @Woodnook Vale LNR

Wednesday, September 24 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

We will be sowing Yellow Rattle seed at the entrance to Royds St and at the meadow next to King George’s Playing Field. Yellow Rattle parasitises grasses which reduces the sward, allowing slower-growing wildflower species to thrive.

Join us for our new Hyndburn’s Nature Reserves project! There will be fortnightly conservation volunteers sessions at Woodnook Vale LNR, Wednesdays. Come along to learn new skills, meet people, keep fit and help wildlife!

To express your interest or find out more, email robert.gabryszak@prospectsfoundation.org.uk, telephone 01254 230348 or call into the Prospects office at 54 Broadway, Accrington
