Join the Hyndburn’s Woodlands volunteers and project officer Brandon Cherry for practical conservation work, including carrying out a litter pick and making access improvements.

This week we will be at Woodnook Vale. Tasks include, litter picking the entrance, scything the front square and trimming back overgrown vegetation.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles.

We will be meeting by the entrance on Nuttall Street in Accrington (across from Pappous Greek Grill), BB5 2HW. There is on street parking available. Staff will be wearing an orange hi-vis.
