Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions, this week we will be at Woodnook Vale LNR tidying up the entrance on Nuttall Street. Secondary tasks include removing some small cotoneaster plants which have spread into the vale.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring warm items of clothing e.g., hats, gloves, extra thick socks, spare fleeces/jackets.

We will be meeting on Nuttall Street, BB5 2HW (just across from Pappous Greek Grill). Staff will be in orange high-vis. There is on-street parking available.
