Join our ‘Green Team’ of conservation volunteers led by our Green Spaces staff members: Helen, Brandon & Chloe.

This week we will be at Hollins Wood, continuing work on the dry stone wall. Tasks will involve removing the existing wall, prepping it and if we have time, rebuilding it. Don’t worry if you haven’t had any prior experience or training, we will give a demonstration and provide guidance throughout the session.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots (ideally hardened toe-caps), long sleeves and full length trousers. Prepare to get a bit mucky!

We will be meeting by the school on Hollins Lane, BB5 2LD. There is on street parking available. Staff will be wearing an orange hi-vis.
