Whinney Hill – Hyndburn’s Woodlands
Tuesday, January 21, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be carrying out some woodland thinning works. This will involve using hand tools to fell small trees that are underdeveloped due to overcrowding.
This session has been changed from fencing repair due to pricing issues.
Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather.
We will be meeting at the end of Livingstone Road, BB5 5BS (Next to the Livingstone Road Allotments). Staff will be in orange hi-vis. There is parking available in the car park.
To find out more or confirm your attendance, please contact Brandon at brandon.cherry@prospectsfoundation.org.uk or 07733 840842
