Join our Community TreeACTION Officer Helen for a practical session changing tree protection tubes at Bullough Park in Accrington. This will prevent the young trees from being eaten by small rodents and larger mammals such as deer.

We will be meeting at the main car park off Dunny Shop Avenue, Accrington,  BB5 0LW. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.

  • No experience is necessary – just bring your enthusiasm!
  • All ages welcome. Children will need to be accompanied by an adult
  • Please wear suitable outdoor clothes and sturdy boots (wellies are advised)

To find out more or confirm your attendance, please contact Helen at helen.earnshaw@prospectsfoundation.org.uk, telephone 01254 230348, or call into the Prospects office at 54 Broadway, Accrington, BB5 1EW.

The TreeACTION Project is a direct result of Hyndburn Borough Council’s Climate Emergency Declaration in September 2019 and is seen as one of the key projects where local people can help to reduce emissions within the borough.
