Join our ‘Green Team’ of conservation volunteers led by our Green Spaces staff members: Helen, Brandon & Chloe.

This week we will be at Priestly Clough carrying out a Himalayan Balsam bashing session. Himalayan Balsam is an Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS) that has encroached onto the ancient woodland, Priestly Clough.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles.

We will be meeting by the entrance on Nuttall Street in Accrington (across from Pappous Greek Grill), BB5 2HW. There is on street parking available. Staff will be wearing an orange hi-vis.
