Join our Brookside Restoration and Hyndburn’s Nature Reserves officers for a guided walk between two of Oswaldtwistle’s most important green spaces!

The trail will begin at the entrance to Brookside on Stanhill Rd, we will then explore the beauty of Brookside before making our way over to Jackhouse nature reserve. The walk from Brookside to Jackhouse will take around an hour, but along the way we will be discussing local wildlife and heritage.

Using public transport or walking to the meeting point is encouraged! Brookside is on the 6 & 7 bus routes. Jackhouse is a 30-minute walk from the 6 & 7 bus route.

Please wear appropriate footwear and bring plenty of water & snacks! Family-friendly, well-behaved dogs considered.

• Time: 10am-1pm (We may overrun slightly depending on the amount of walkers!)
