Woodnook Vale LNR – Hyndburn’s Woodlands

Tuesday, January 28, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we have an exciting change of pace for a session, we will be joined by Imogen from CreativeWithNature who will be teaching us how to create a Willow Arch!

Imogen will be instructing us on how to repair a dilapidated willow arch along Woodnook Vale. Tool use will include bow saws and loppers.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather.

We will be meeting along Hollins Lane, BB5 2QY (Next to The Hollins School). There is on-street parking available. Staff will be in orange hi-vis.

To find out more or confirm your attendance, please contact Brandon at brandon.cherry@prospectsfoundation.org.uk or 07733 840842
