We will be removing invasive non-native Montbretia, a.k.a Crocosmia. Whilst it is a lovely garden plant, a common cultivar (Crocosmia × crocosmiiflora,) can cause problems when it escapes where it can creep across a woodland floors and along paths, smothering native vegetation.

Join us for our Hyndburn’s Nature Reserves project! There will be weekly conservation volunteers sessions at Peel Park and the Coppice Local Nature Reserve, every Monday from 10am – 1pm. Come along to learn new skills, meet people, keep fit and help wildlife!
