Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions, this week we will be at Martholme Greenway carrying out some maintenance tasks to assist the Friends of Martholme Greenway with the work they are doing.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring warm items of clothing e.g., hats, gloves, extra thick socks, spare fleeces/jackets.

We will be meeting at Martholme Lane, Great Harwood, Blackburn BB6 7UQ. Staff will be in orange high-vis. There is parking available under the viaduct
