Litter Pick Walk – Conservation Volunteers session – Peel Park and the Coppice Local Nature Reserve

Saturday, February 17, 2024 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Join us for a special Saturday conservation volunteers session at Peel Park and the Coppice Local Nature Reserve.

Here is a map of the route we will be taking. We will be meeting at the Arden Hall entrance for 10am and will be doing a 2km walk around the site, we will stop for a break at the Peel Park Monument, and then finish at the Peel Park Car Park where the litter will get picked up. The paths are all well maintained and suitable for wheelchairs/mobility scooters/prams, but there are some very steep sections. If you have driven to the site then I will walk back with you to the Arden Hall Entrance which is around 1km (approx. 15 minutes.) I’ve scheduled the walk to take 3-4 hours (depending on how much litter we find!)
There are no toilet or hand-washing facilities on the site.
Children are welcome to attend but must be accompanied by an adult. Well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend but the site is frequented by other dog walkers so they must be comfortable around other dogs.
Get in touch if you’d like to attend or have any other questions!
