The UK’s leading scythe instructor, Steve Tomlin, is delivering a one-day scything workshop at Pleck Meadow at Peel Park and the Coppice LNR.  Steve will show you how to:

• set up the scythe to fit your body
• how to scythe efficiently and safely
• how to sharpen the scythe
• how to peen the edge of the scythe
• how to look after the scythe

No more ear defenders, visors, strimmer fumes or noise; just the sound of the birds and the swish of your blade!
