Join Hyndburn’s Woodlands Officer Brandon for weekly practical conservation sessions. This week, we will be at Jubilee woodland (Woodnook Vale) carrying out some wildflower meadow maintenance in the form of scything. Please note the strimmer may also be in use this day due to the size of the area.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather. Please remember to bring spare water this activity can be quite demanding.

We will be meeting along Hollins Lane, BB5 2QY (Just next to The Hollins School)  . Staff will be in orange high-vis. There is on-street parking available.
