Join the Hyndburn’s Woodlands Volunteers for weekly practical conservation sessions.

This week, we will be at Huncoat West. This session we will be establishing a butterfly glade running through the woodlands. Tasks will include scything the length of the glade, removing the cuttings via raking, and sowing wildflower seeds into the glade.

Tools, gloves and PPE will be provided. Please wear sturdy boots, long sleeves and full length trousers as we may be working around brambles and nettles. Waterproofs may be needed, depending on the weather.
